Religious Education is at the centre of both the formal and informal interactions of St Mary’s School’s community. The school has a visible Catholic symbolic culture and active sacramental and liturgical practices. 

 

Daily prayer and whole school liturgical celebrations promote connection to self, others and faith.

 

Learning design in Religious Education enables students explain, interpret and reflect across the three strands: ​

Students in Years 3, 4 and 6 participate in a school-based Sacramental Program in readiness for the celebration of Sacraments:

 

• Reconciliation (Year 3) - Friday 22 November, 2024 - 12:00 pm

• First Eucharist (Year 4)- Sunday 11 August, 2024 - 2:30 pm 

• Confirmation (Year 6) - Thursday 21 March, 2024 - 5:00 pm
